Kerstin Walther (born 15 April 1961 in Altenburg, Thuringia) is a retired East German sprinter. She won both the 100 metres, the 200 metres and the 4×100 metres relay at the 1979 European Athletics Junior Championships.〔(European Junior Championships (Women) ) - GBR Athletics〕 At the 1983 World Championships she won a gold medal in the 4×400 metres relay. Although it was Gesine Walther, Sabine Busch, Marita Koch and Dagmar Rübsam who ran in the final, Walther had run in the qualifying round.
